Phylectronics Fair

The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities of SAL Institute of Technology and Engineering Research [SALITER] had organized Physics Working Model Exhibition on Saturday, 16th December, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM for Semester I and III of all branches. There were around 49 projects in the exhibition. The event took place in room no. 203 SALITER along with many classrooms.

The primary aim of the exhibition was to create harmony between physics and electronics. Such exhibition is a platform where students can showcase how much they have understood the different scientific theories through their projects/models. It also helps to build the ability for teamwork and cooperation among students.

The exhibition was organized by Asst. Prof. Reena Panchal, the fac ulty of Physics with the kind consideration of Asst. Prof. Samir A. Shah, the Head of the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities [SALITER].

The chief guest and the judges of the event were Dr. Ajay Upadhyaya (Chairman of ISTE and Principal of SETI), Dr. Vaishali Bhavsar (HOD Applied Sciences and Humanities, SCE) and Asst. Prof. Sheetal Thakur (Faculty of Physics, SETI). The dignitaries of SAL Education such as Ms. Chaula Ma’am, Madhusudan Joshi also came to visit the event. There were many faculties of various subjects also attended

Minocha, Manish Patel, Chirag Patel, Griva Chhaya, Naha Gajjar, Nikita Patel, Rachana Desai from SALITER. The whole staff of SETI attended the exhibition.

The winners of the Phylectronics Fair were:

1. Het Patel [Electric Firki Winding Machine]
2. Ved Joshi and Aditya Jani [Lift Audio Announcement System]
3. Namra Patel and Mitesh Makvana [Smart Car Parking]

There were many enthusiastic student volunteers of Semester I, SALITER who helped to make the event successful. They were Deep, Naimish, Simit, Saumy, Yesha, Sapndan, Prince, Jeel, Shriya, Sharvi, Krishna, Amav, Shikhar and Aryan. The anchoring and the vote of thanks were done by Arnav Jangid and Sharvi Bhavsar the students of Semester I, SALITER.

The exhibition “Phylectronics Fair” turned out to be a great success. It reflected the perseverance, passion, creativity, resourcefulness and team work of the students as well as the members of the SAL Education.
