About Department
The Electrical Engineering department was inculcated in the year 2013 with the approved intake of 60 students. Electrical engineering department of SAL Institute of Technology and Engineering Research understands the future trend of electrical engineering and hence has been committed to its goals and missions. The Electrical department focuses on overall development of students and continuously put them through various shop floor trainings and industrial exposure. The department believes in practical and applicable knowledge rather than cramming up the engineering principles. Through core research and education, the students will be prepared as the best professional Engineers in the field of Electrical Engineering to face the challenges in such disciplines.
The Department provides knowledge-based technology and services to meet the needs of society globally. The department's emphasis is on skill development in students to make them employable and nurture them to become entrepreneurs. The Department train students in a manner that they should function effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary groups in their practice of the electrical engineering profession.
